Coming straight out of Johannesburg, South Africa, we are happy to add some very potent Sativas. We recommend temperatures of about 90-95 degrees F for maximum germination rates. Remember these strains originate in the tropics. Lower temps often give poorer results.

Durban Poison : Indoor/Outdoor $45 10 seeds (Seeds from Africa) Sativa.This famous strain, comes not only from Natal, but is grown widely across South Africa, resulting in a wide range of quality. These seeds have been selected only from experienced growers, giving consistent 'kick ass' plants loaded with resin. This is a pure strain, never been hybridized. Height 6 to 9 feet. Swazi 'Rooi Bart' temporarily out of stock : Indoor/Outdoor $45 10 seeds (Seeds from Africa) Sativa. This produces characteristic tall, slender plants. Ethiopian Highland : Outdoor $45 10 seeds (Seeds from Africa) Sativa. Considered the finest in the world by the ruling Empress Zauditu and Ras Tafari who became the Emperor Haile Selassie. Cultivated and inbred by his latter day followers in the city of Shashemene, this sativa grows well at altitude and in cooler climates. Buds typically long sativa with visible resin droplets providing a clear energetic high. Plants are shorter, branched and stockier than the tall bushy southern african types. Should also do well indoors. Height 4.5 to 6 ft. Flowering time 8 to 12 weeks. Yield 300 to 500 gr.

The first buds are ripe around the third week of September. About every ten days after that, new buds form and can be harvested through the end of November, if the plant can be kept alive that long. Growing from regular seeds means that part of the seeds will give rise to male plants and female plants, and the percentage of female plants varies widely. Whether a seed becomes male or female is not just genetic, but environmental. For growers who are well experienced , percentage of female plants is 60% - 90% female, but less experienced growers can end up with 100% male plants. Growing from female seeds will yield only female plants, there is no male chromosome in these genetics. You will now save time, energy, space, pollination-worries or male plants you have to nurture only to destroy in 2 - 3 months. Where there are rstrictions on the number of plants to grow, all-female is more efficient. Its also great for outdoor guerilla farming, no males to have to come back to eliminate.
